About SquadBear
SquadBear is HR software for leave, time tracking, attendance, performance reviews, team health and core HR. It has a web app, a REST API and an MCP server for AI assistants, and it is built and operated in Wrocław, Poland.

What we build
One product instead of a leave tool, a timesheet tool, a review tool and a survey tool. Leave, time, attendance, performance reviews, team health, people records, processes and policies share one directory and one set of permissions. The web app, the REST API and the MCP server run the same rules, so an assistant can do what the person using it may do, and nothing more.

Records, not surveillance
Attendance stores what people record: clock-in, breaks and clock-out. SquadBear does not collect location, photograph people, log keystrokes or capture screens. The optional office kiosk uses its camera only to read QR badges.
Rules decide the numbers
Leave balances, coverage checks, timesheets and attendance totals come from the product's rules. A language model never calculates a balance or decides a request. Optional AI summaries of team-health comments and retrospective cards are suggestions for a person to read.
A person signs off
An assistant connected over MCP can prepare a change, but some changes wait for a person: leave policies and entitlements, workspace settings, a person's role or status, inviting or adding an admin, erasing a person and starting a process. Each one is stored as a proposal for 30 minutes and runs only after the same person approves it, signed in to SquadBear.
Your region, your workspace
The workspace database and files are stored in the region you chose. Every query is scoped to your workspace, and the database refuses a row that points at another one. We do not sell data or run ad-tech in the app.
