How do German public holidays affect leave day counts?
When a leave policy excludes public holidays, SquadBear skips dates on the employee’s resolved holiday calendar. Part-time and non-working weekdays are also respected via each person’s work schedule.
Can we mix Germany with other countries in one workspace?
Yes. Each employee resolves to one country calendar (their override, or the organisation default). A developer in Germany and a colleague in another covered country can share the same policies with different holiday exclusions.
