SquadBear vs PeopleForce

SquadBear includes 360 reviews in the $4 seat. PeopleForce sells Perform apart from Core HR, with OKRs, a score and an n-box.

Comparison last reviewed October 2026.

TL;DR: PeopleForce is a modular HR platform. Core HR has a published price. Perform, the reviews product, is separate and has no public per-seat price on the English pricing page. SquadBear includes a 360 and frozen goals in the $4 USD seat and does not turn ratings into a score or an n-box. Buy PeopleForce when that score, the OKRs or the Core HR suite is what you want. Buy SquadBear when the review should sit next to leave, time and your own assistant.

Where SquadBear is the stronger choice

The review is not a second contract. You do not add Perform on top of Core HR to get a 360. It is in the seat you already pay for, with leave and time.

No score to file. PeopleForce publishes a 0 to 100 performance score and an n-box. We keep each rating on its question. Upward comments are released only from three answers, without names.

Your assistant, not a model we run. It may suggest wording and a rating. You pick every rating and submit. It cannot read upward feedback.

Where PeopleForce is the stronger choice

  • A single performance score and an n-box. If leadership wants one number and a grid, Perform is built for that. We will not add it.
  • OKRs and KPIs. Company-style objectives and indicators. Our goals are per person and do not roll up.
  • Core HR at a published minimum. If the buy is the HRIS and you will not run SquadBear's reviews, their Core HR Standard price is the number to compare. It is not the price of reviews.
  • 1:1 meetings inside the performance product. We do not ship a meeting agenda module.

Who should pick which

  • Pick SquadBear if you want 360s and frozen goals in the same monthly seat as leave and time, without a composite score.
  • Pick PeopleForce if you want OKRs, a 0 to 100 score, an n-box, or you are pricing Core HR rather than reviews.

Frequently asked questions

Is SquadBear a PeopleForce alternative?

For a 360 without a composite score, goals that freeze when a round opens, and a draft in your own assistant, yes. PeopleForce is the stronger buy when you want OKRs, KPIs, a 0 to 100 performance score, or an n-box, or when Core HR is the product you are pricing.

What does PeopleForce publish for price?

On the English page peopleforce.io/pricing (24 Oct 2026) Core HR Standard is $2.50 per employee per month with a $125 minimum that covers up to 50 employees, and Professional is $3 with a $150 minimum. That is Core HR. The same page lists Perform (360 reviews, scoring, an n-box, OKRs, KPIs) as its own product and does not publish a Perform price.

Does SquadBear score people from 0 to 100?

No. Ratings stay on the questions. They are not averaged and nobody is ranked.

Are PeopleForce reviews included in the $2.50 price?

The $2.50 figure is Core HR Standard, not a published reviews price. Do not treat it as the cost of Perform.
