Group and export time as reports
Pull logged hours grouped by user, project, work item or time category, filtered and exported to CSV
Time tracking → Reports is the tab for turning logged hours into a matrix instead of a week-by-week grid — for a manager checking a team's totals, or finance pulling a month for capitalization. It's visible to managers and admins; employees don't get this tab (they still see their own totals on Week and Month).
Choosing a period
There's no free-text date range — Reports navigates in fixed windows sized to whatever you're grouping into: a Days bucket steps a week at a time, Weeks steps roughly a quarter (12 weeks), Months steps a year (12 months). Previous/Next and Today move the window; switching the bucket re-snaps to a window of the new size around where you were.
Group by, and filters
Four group-by tabs: User, Project, Work item, and Category — the tenant-defined time category axis (capex/opex is a one-click preset). Three filters sit alongside them: a project picker, a team picker (defaulting to "All my people," same manager/admin scoping as Team timesheets), and a category picker (one of your categories, or unclassified). There's no per-user or per-work-item filter in this tab — group by User or Work item to see that breakdown instead of filtering to one.
What the table shows
One row per group (a person, a project, a work item, or one of your categories / unclassified), one column per bucket in the window, hours only — no rates, no money, no approval status anywhere on this page. A project row's sub-label is its code; a work item row's is its tracker issue key when it has one. Rows sort by total, highest first. On narrower screens the matrix becomes a stack of per-group cards instead of a wide table.
CSV export
The CSV button next to the period nav exports exactly what's on screen — same group-by, same filters, same window. Columns are the group's label, its sub-label (code or issue key, blank otherwise), the row total, then one column per bucket in the window.
For agents
A connected agent can pull the same grouped, filtered matrix as a tool call instead of opening the tab — handy for "what's this month's capex split" without a screenshot.
Worked example
Marta opens Reports, switches the bucket to Months, groups by category, and filters the team picker to Platform. She sees the team's June hours split into capex and opex rows, exports CSV, and hands it to finance — SquadBear stops at clean, grouped hours; what finance does with the split (capitalization policy, rates) stays theirs.
